Goldstar's Zoltar is the son of Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar. Goldstar has won 20 Get of Sires with 3 of them at Nationals, 3 at The Futurity, and 1 at the Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show. Goldstar has been taking his great Full Accoyo genetics and passing them on to his offspring to create champions since at least 2012 when he won the first of his 19 Get of Sire championships. Goldstar’s sire is the great Rockstar making him grandson of the outstanding Accoyo herdsire Torbio. That lineage of males is known for consistently producing progeny with beautiful conformation and with fleeces that are fine, dense, nicely locked, and lustrous. That line is definitely prepotent. That prepotency is exhibited in Zoltar. Zoltar has those attributes and to insure that he will be a densely fleeced alpaca, he was born with great folds of skin on him. Yes, he had wrinkled skin! Zoltar's dam Zarina has great genetics in her pedigree, too. It's a wonderful mix that includes some great Accoyo herdsires in Inca, Bruxo, MacGyver, Uribe, and Accoyo Gold. Her first son by USA Peruvian Jaguar was excellent. He was just unlucky to be born the same month as our Black Beau's Comet. Comet was spectacular. Her 3rd male cria was 1st in a competitive juvie class of 6 at the 2019 Nationals at age 7 months. He was sired by Micah. She also has a nice male by Page Master in 2019. Zarina is an excellent producer as she has had 4 really nice crias sired by 4 different males. A sample from Zoltar's 2019 shearing has been submitted for EPDs and look at that histogram! Wow! Those are excellent stats! Check out his excellent EPD rankings by clicking the link. He had a skin biopsy in 2020 at age 3. His density is 71.8 follicles/sq mm, SAFD 18.7 microns, PAFD 22.2 microns, and that's an S to P spread of only 3.5 microns. Zoltar has had solid results in the show ring. He had a fiber break as a juvie and halter shows were only as a shorn yearling. He had nothing but blue ribbons in his previously shorn halter classes. He's been considered for Color Championships, but never won a banner. Fleece shows have been different. He's back to back Light Male Color Champion in 2019 & 2020 at The Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show. He was not only champion at the 2020 AOA National Fleece Show, he also won Judge's Choice. The outstanding results at fleece shows continued with being awarded Suri Network 2022 Spirit of the Industry! Shows are nice, but we are more concerned about the crias he'll sire after all the shows are done. A number of Goldstar sons are now the ones winning the Get of Sires at the shows like AOA Nationals and The Futurity. If Zoltar is like his dad Goldstar, who didn't have but 1 RC banner in his show career, and then later went on to win 20 Get of Sires because of his outstanding offspring, then we'll be happy. ANDACAL Micah's Gabrielle is sired by our herdsire MMALP Micah. Micah has not sired a lot of crias, but in all that he has sired the fleeces have had outstanding organization with an amazing, advanced lock structure. Four-time banner winner and full Peruvian Micah is an outstanding grandson of the great herdsire Pucara Kahuna. Micah's sire's dam LCA Elana comes from great genetics and also has quite the show record herself winning 4 banners and placing first at The Futurity. Elana was sired by Grand Marnier, a MacGyver son, and a two-time banner winner. Putting Kahuna and Elana together produced Kahuna's Casper, Micah's sire. Casper won a total of 10 banners in his show career, a Judge's Choice, and a first place at the AOBA National Fleece Show. The bottom half of Micah's pedigree is nice too. His dam Synergy's Duchess is a Sierra Bonita's MacGyver's Synergy daughter and while she was never shown herself, her sire Synergy has produced a multitude of champions. So, it's a definite that the top half of Gabrielle's pedigree is loaded with championship and prepotent genetics. Gabrielle's dam, Black Beau's Ariana, also brings superb luster, a great phenotype, and outstanding fleece characteristics to the pairing with Micah. Ariana has great EPDs from top to bottom, but especially for fineness and uniformity. She has had Top 1% EPD ranking for AFD, SF and MSL. In addition to those, she has top 25% or better for all the other EPDs. Ariana comes by that fineness through her dam Lianka as she is from a fine micron lineage of alpacas that start with the herdsires Sedoso on top and Huacho on the bottom. Lianka herself has Top 2% EPD rankings for AFD, SF, and %>30. From her full name one can tell that Ariana is sired by Black Beau of PVA who is from that great dark lineage. Black Beau is also known for producing fineness and that is understandable considering Ariana's rankings are better than her dam. Overall, this means that Gabrielle inherited great fleece characteristics from both the top and the bottom of her pedigree. It's no wonder with the great genetics found in her pedigree that Gabrielle always had great potential. She has a great Suri phenotype with great fleece coverage from her ears to her toes. She has a great Suri head style. Her fleece is fine, dense, lustrous, and organized. She inherited the good size of her sire, and we feel she will be an outstanding production female. She was not only a banner winner, but also was awarded Judge's Choice at the 2022 GWAS halter show. Gabrielle had her first cria on 8/4/23. It was a 21 lb male sired by Zoltar and he shows a lot of promise. He has both a gorgeous fleece and phenotype. We feel he should be a future herdsire for someone. Gabby had a 17.6 lb light fawn female cria sired by Whistling Pines Vontae Mack on 9/7/2024. We co-own this girl with Whistling Pines Ranch as part of the deal to get her bred to Vontae Mack. She is gorgeous and we are looking forward to watching her mature.

Galahad was sired by the outstanding Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar son named Goldstar's Zoltar. Zoltar never lost a halter show class that he was in, but it was in fleece shows where he has won big. In fleece shows he is a 6 time CC, 1 time RC, 4 time Judge's Choice (including 1 at AOA Nationals and 1 at Suri Network), and a Spirit of the Industry Award winner at the Suri Network fleece show. Zoltar has also won Best of Bred & Owned and Bests for Lock and Hand. He has an extremely dense (71.8 follicles per sq mm), lustrous, and soft handling fleece. That fleece has a beautiful and consistent lock structure across the blanket and up the neck. His sire Goldstar has 20 Get Of Sire wins including 3 at National, 3 at The Futurity, and 1 at the Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show. Zoltar's dam is a well-bred female named BRKRD Zarina. Her pedigree includes the great herdsires Uribe, MacGyver, Grand Marnier, Mojo, Chesnimitz, Inca, and Accoyo Gold. Zoltar's breeding career is young at this time and his offspring just started entering the show ring in 2023. All indications so far are that he is siring excellent offspring of all colors that exhibit the same great characteristics as this boy Galahad. Those characteristics include a great Suri head style, great fleece coverage on the legs, a lustrous fleece, a soft handling fleece, and a fleece with consistent organization across the blanket.

Of course, a really nice boy like Galahad isn't the product of just his sire. Galahad's dam is a female we produced named ANDACAL Micah's Gabrielle. Gabrielle is a 3-time banner winner and also a winner of Judge's Choice in halter at GWAS 2022. One of the banners was a RC in fleece competition where she also won Best Lock and Best Luster. Her sire MMALP Micah has consistently put a wonderful lock structure on all the crias he's sired. Gabrielle has also had a skin biopsy done for her fleece with wonderful results, especially the density of 88.7 follicles per sq mm. Gabrielle's dam Black Beau's Ariana (also a female we produced) has consistently had EPDs where 2 or 3 have been ranked Top 1% and 6 of 7 EPDs have been ranked consistently Top 10% or better. Gabrielle's pedigree is loaded with great herdsires' genetics from top to bottom. Those herdsires include Huacho, Sedoso, Kobe, Diamonte, Black Beau, MacGyver, Synergy, and Kahuna. So after putting Zoltar together with Gabrielle, one could only say that Galahad is one very well bred young male Suri alpaca!

We are willing to do financing. We may also be willing to offer a discount for a cash purchase. If the purchase of an alpaca is financed, no interest will be charged if paid off in 1 year. Stud fees must be paid for in advance. Transport of a purchased alpaca to the buyer's farm is the buyer's responsibility unless some other agreed upon arrangement is made. If a breeding to one of our males is purchased, the transport of the female to and from our farm is the buyer's responsibility.
