ANDACAL Challenger's Glory was sired by WI Challenger. Challenger is a son of the outstanding herdsire Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar. Goldstar has 20 Get of Sire winners to his name including 3 at Nationals, 3 at The Futurity, and 1 at the Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show. WI Challenger is full brother to BRKRD Goldstar's Jet. Jet has passed away, but he produced champions. He sired the 2018 AOA Nationals Light Male Supreme Champion, Jet's Dominion, and has 4 Get of Sire wins himself, including 1 at Nationals and 1 at The Futurity. Challenger was not shown as much as his brother Jet and he is just starting to have offspring hit the ground. Challenger's pedigree is loaded with the names of many great herdsires besides Goldstar. The names include Torbio, Rockstar, Jackpot, Ramilo, Major Jax, Baron, Saber, Bruxo, MacGyver, and Uribe. Wow! He's a genetic powerhouse and of course, it is not just the males in his pedigree as there are many championship females in it, too.
Glory's dam is Dumble's Ginny of ANDACAL and she has great genetics in her pedigree, too. Ginny is sired by a male we wish we hadn't sold named Torbio's Dumbledore. Dumbledore had great EPDs and the two offspring we have of his, Ginny and Majik, have great fleece characteristics. Dumbledore obviously has Torbio in his background via his dam, but he also has great genetics from his sire Chesnimitz. We are talking MacGyver and Inca genetics. Ginny's dam, Glory's grandmaother, was sired by a bay black male named Saladin. Saladin sired the black champion male Psylent Knight and was known to have great fleece. The bottom line is this, Glory's pedigree is strong from top to bottom.
Glory is developing nicely. She is built solidly and has good size to her already. We think with her frame and her genetics she will be a great production female in the future. She would bring great fleece characteristics to her offspring, too. Her fleece is beautiful. She has great luster in her bay black fleece. Her fleece is fine and is showing a great staple length already. But being a production female is a long ways into the future. Right now we are excited to see how she will continue to develop and how well she'll do in the show ring.
