25% interest in Silver Heat is for sale. Silver Heat won the 2011 Futurity Dark Herdsire of The Year! Silver Heat was the first grey to ever win this award at the Futurity. Details
Delaney is a beautiful harlequin dark rose grey alpaca out of the Peruvian import Condor a dark silver grey and a first generation U.S. dam out of 2 Bolivian imports. Her color is beautiful! She has produced banner winners and has a pretty good AFD of 27 microns when tested in late spring of 2016 if you take into account she was 1 month shy of 14 years old when the sample was taken.

Delaney had given birth to 8 crias that are registered on AOA prior to 2017. A couple of those offspring were never shown. Of the 6 that were shown, 4 of them were blue ribbon winners at some point in their show careers and one, BKNRD's Hakeem, was a banner winner. The other two that were shown did fairly well. One placed second in each of the four times it was shown.

On September 7, 2017, Delaney gave birth to a female cria that weighed 14.5 lbs. and appears to be bay black. The cria was sired by Silver Heat. It was on it's feet in 20 minutes and nursing in less than an hour. She gained weight quickly the first few days and weighed 17.5 lbs. by September 12th.

The 2017 cria will be Delaney's last as we have decided to retire her. She will be a companion alpaca and the matriarch for our herd until she passes in the future. She is such a pleasant girl and has been such a great mom that she deserves to live out her last years pleasantly in the barn and pasture.
