Comet is a 7 time banner winner and is the result of combining some great genetics. His sire is Black Beau of PVA. Comet is from the Mahogany Prince to Kobe to Diamonte to Black Beau line of champion PVA genetics. Black Beau inherited great fleece statistics. Black Beau had EPDs that improved AFD, SDAFD, SF, %>30, MSL, and FW. It was expected that he'd improve every measurable aspect of a fleece in his progeny. Black Beau also had the most beautiful Suri conformation to pass on to his offspring. Comet's dam was sired by Saladin, a bay black that produced champion offspring including the true black male Psylent Knight. His dam's dam comes from a line of outstanding fine micron fleeces tracing back to imported males Sedoso and Huacho. Before we got her in the EPD pool, Comet's dam Hermione died and he was her only offspring. Hermione's dam Lianka is in the top 2% of EPDs for AFD and at age 9 had an AFD of 25.1 microns. Lianka is maintaining a fineness as she ages. Lianka's dam was tested at age 1 and had a 17.4 micron AFD and her grandmother at age 4 years had a 15.2 micron AFD. Comet has great fleece genetics both in the top and bottom of his pedigree. Comet has been part of the AOA's EPDs since 2017 and the current results can be seen using the EPD link. He's almost top 1% for staple length at 1.08%. Overall, the EPD rankings are excellent like we expected and it is expected that he will improve every trait in his offspring just like his sire Black Beau. The histogram for the EPD testing shows at age 2.5 years Comet has matured into a dark dawn male with uniform grade 3 fleece. Besides the histograms, Comet has a skin biopsy indicating he has great fleece genetics to pass on to offspring. Besides data, the lock structure of Comet's fleece is outstanding. He maintained a great lock structure in full fleece well past age 2 years. Those locks will be passed on to his progeny. The locks pictured are at 18 months of age. In that picture one can also see the luster is good. Comet has the fleece genetics, but really he is the whole package. He will also stamp on his crias exemplary Suri conformation. He has the exceptional Suri head from his sire Black Beau and great fleece coverage. He's a solidly built male of good stature. So as a herdsire, Comet should improve your herd in many areas from fineness of fleece to lock structure to conformation to the good sized solid build. Princess Jezira is a beautiful medium fawn female. She has excellent lineage...sired by USA Peruvian Jeremiah (Kalvin & MacGyver), who has great EPD stats across the board, was 2x Judges Choice, and has multiple banners to his credit. On the bottom we find Mont Blanc (Baron & Ramilo), who is consistently ranked in the top 1% for multiple EPD traits, has multiple Judges Choice awards, multiple banners, and multiple Get-of-Sire awards. Jezira's fleece is exquisitely fine, (maintaining a grade 1 through her first two shearings), highly lustrous, with great uniformity. She has excellent EPDs and you can see those by clicking on the link. Jezira participated in just one show, earning a 2nd place ribbon in a tough class at the 2015 MOPACA Invitational. She's a more petite female, but her frame has good width and she has had no trouble having crias. She's small, but feisty. Jezira had a 19.4 lb. beige male cria sired by Bold Ruler on 6/22/2019. We named him Jerrick and he looks like he has the potential to have a very nice fleece. The phenotype is quite nice, too, and we can't wait to see how he develops. The potential of that fleece was met because Jerrick earned an advanced fleece award at a fleece show in the summer of 2020 with a score of 82. Jezira had a 12.8 lb. fawn female on 6/16/2020 that was sired by our boy Comet. She's a beautiful girl with a fleece that has a great staple length and very good luster. She grew really well and done OK at shows. She usually places in the middle of the pack in the fawn classes she in which she has been shown. She may have been small when born, but this girls has very good size to her now and we are keeping her as a production female. On 7/23/21 Jezira had a 14 lb female cria sired by Page Master. We are impressed. This girl is outstanding from her exemplary Suri phenotype to an exceptional fleece. That fleece is fine, organized, lustrous, and dense. The little girl has wrinkled skin. She grew very well, developed a fine, dense, and lustrous fleece. We named her Little Princess. She won a reserve champion banner at 8 months of age! She was sold to Big Timber Alpacas and her first shearing won a RC banner at The National Fleece Show. At the Suri Network show it was CC and Judge's Choice. Like it was stated, we are impressed! On 7/28/22 Jezira had a 16 lb female cria sired by Challenger. Not as impressive as the last cria, but very nice nonetheless. She's very lustrous with beautiful little icicle locks. Her phenotype is spot on and we can't wait to see how she develops. We've named her ANDACAL Page's Princess Jasmine. On 8/27/23 there was a full sister to Little Princess born. Jezira had a 16.8 lb beige female cria. She is going to be very nice, and she just glows with luster. The fleece is fine and organized. It's hard to tell if she'll be as nice as her full sister, but she shows a lot of potential. Keep an eye out for her. We will leave Jezira open this year.

Four time banner winner MMALP Micah is an outstanding grandson of the great herdsire Pucara Kahuna. Micah's sire's dam LCA Elana comes from great genetics and also has quite the show record herself winning 4 banners and placing first at The Futurity. Elana was sired by Grand Marnier, a MacGyver son, and a two time banner winner. Putting Kahuna and Elana together produced Kahuna's Casper, Micah's sire. Casper won a total of 10 banners in his show career, a Judge's Choice, and a first place at the AOBA National Fleece Show. The bottom half of Micah's pedigree is solid. His dam Synergy's Duchess is a Sierra Bonita's MacGyver's Synergy daughter and while she was never shown herself, her sire Synergy has produced a multitude of champions for Wilkins Ranch and Great Lakes Ranch. Micah has great genetics and they are Full Peruvian. Dr. Norm Evans Skin Biopsy Report: MMALP Micah was biopsied as a 50 month old light fawn Suri male. His ARI# is 32546620. His 15X scan shows fiber clusters that are uniform in shape and placement within his connective tissue. His density is 40.5 follicles SQ MM of skin and his S/P ratio from 20 typical fiber clusters averages 9.3 to 1. He grades level 4 of 4 gland structure. 100% of his secondary fibers show medullation. Eighty secondary fibers averaged 22.1 microns while 40 primary fibers averaged 35.5 microns. This equates to a micron variation of 13.4 microns. These fiber stats figure an AFD of 23.52 microns. Histogram Results: A random sample of fleece from Micah's side was taken on 9/19/17, just after Micah had turned 4 years old. The histogram came back with an AFD of 26.3 microns. Eight months later a larger sample was sent in so that Micah could be part of the 2018 EPDs. This histogram came back with a 28.6 micron AFD. The things most outstanding about Micah's fleece are its great luster, its outstanding lock structure, its consistent lock style across the body, and its very good staple. He has a lot of fleece and that may seem puzzling considering his density, but not so much when one considers the fact he is a large Suri male. He brings an outstanding conformation, great size with a very good substance of bone, and beautiful fleece coverage on his legs and his head to the genetics he will pass along to his offspring. We just love that size, that coverage, and his outstanding Suri head style. He just flat out carries himself and stands like a champion everywhere he goes. We will breed him to females that have fleeces with density and fineness that need to improve on their body size, lock structure, and luster.

Jewel has great genetics in her pedigree. Jewel was sired by our 7 time banner winner Black Beau's Comet. Comet is a son of true black National and Futurity champion Black Beau, grandson of Diamonte, and great-grandson of Kobe. Yes, Comet is from that great PVA lineage. On the bottom of Comet's pedigree is a daughter of Saladin. Bay black Saladin sired some outstanding offspring including the true black champion Psylent Knight. Comet's dam's dam comes from a line that has great fleece stats in regards to fineness. Comet's offspring have all had wonderful fleeces and especially fleeces with great organization to them. Being sired by Comet means Jewel has great genetics on the top of her pedigree.

So we know about the great genetics Jewel got from her sire, but her dam Princess Jezira has outstanding genetics in her pedigree, too. First, Jezira's dam is a Mont Blanc daughter. Mont Blanc has great fleece EPDs. He has been top 1% in 5 or 6 of the 7 EPD fleece traits year after year. Mont Blanc is a 3x Judge's Choice winner, is a 7 time banner winner including Nationals & Futurity, and has 7 get of sire wins. Jezira's sire USA Peruvian Jeremiah has excellent fleece characteristics, too. Jeremiah has great EPDs and at different fleece shows he won best lock, best luster, and best handle each two different times. Add to that the fact that in halter he won Judge's Choice at Nationals in 2010. So, Jeremiah also adds exceptional quality genetics to the pedigree of Jezira and ultimately to her daughter Jewel.

Jewel may have started off a bit small, but she has grown into a well built young female. She has a great frame with excellent bone. She has a great Suri phenotype with great coverage and a beautiful head style. Her fleece is exquisite. It has good fineness, great staple, nice density, and exceptional luster. She is the half sister to our beautiful, young female that was sold to Big Timber Alpacas, Little Princess. With her genetics and attributes, we feel she will make someone an outstanding production female.

We are willing to do financing. We may also be willing to offer a discount for a cash purchase. If the purchase of an alpaca is financed, no interest will be charged if paid off in 1 year. Stud fees must be paid for in advance. Transport of a purchased alpaca to the buyer's farm is the buyer's responsibility unless some other agreed upon arrangement is made. If a breeding to one of our males is purchased, the transport of the female to and from our farm is the buyer's responsibility.
