ANDACAL BB'S ROCKIN BOBBY D

Bobby was named like he was to pay homage to Bobby Dickerson since both the sire and dam came from the Rockin' D's herd. The sire was Arappaho's BB of Harmony. He's black and was sired by GLR Arappaho. Arappaho is one of four black offspring from the Great Lakes Ranch herd that was a combination of their great black herdsire Shavano and a Sierra Bonita's MacGyver's Synergy daughter named GLR Allelujah. The combination didn't hit 100%, but 3 out of the 4 including Arappaho were multiple banner winners including wins in halter at AOA Nationals and/or The Futurity. I would say that's pretty special black genetics in the top half of BB's pedigree and the bottom half is filled with great grey genetics as BB's dam is Silver Marquis' Platinum Plus. Silver Marquis was one of the great grey Suri herdsires and is known for producing champions of all colors, but especially grey. In fact BB's dam Platinum Plus is a two time Grey Color Champion including a color championship at The Futurity. So, Bobby is rocking some elite black and grey genetics in the top half of that pedigree.

Bobby's great genetics just don't stop with the top half because his dam RDE's Audi Limited Edition is loaded with championship genetics, too. From the name one can figure out her sire is the great white herdsire WLK Limited Edition. Limited is the full Accoyo son of the great herdsire Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar. Goldstar has 20 Get of Sire wins and has prepotent genetics in him. Limited's dam DDF Accoyo Elena is also prepotent. She's a Kahuna daughter and has produced mulitple Judge's Choice winners including multiple National Supreme Champions. Limited Edition is one of those Supreme Champions and he has sired one himself. Limited Edition was undefeated in his halter show career. So, one time banner winner Audi has great genetics on the top and her dam Rock'n D Peruvian Carmella's genetics are pretty darn good, too. Carmella is a Sierra Bonita's Peruvian Sniper daughter and MacGyver son Sniper was a 19 time banner winner. Sniper is true black and is probably the reason why Bobby ended up true black out of a white dam in Audi. Sniper has sired a plethora of champions and especially for his current owner Rogue Suri Alpacas. Carmella's dam is Accoyo America Sapphire. Sapphire is an NGG Accoyo Apache II daughter. Apache brings Uribe into the genetic mix. The great genetics just never seem to end in Bobby's pedigree and it's no wonder we have such high hopes for him.

With those genetics, it's also easy to see why Bobby has an outstanding Suri phenotype that includes an exemplary Suri head style. Bobby's fleece has the luster we desire and is fine. The organization and density of that fleece is looking good, too. Bobby has the genetics, the great Suri look, and outstanding fleece characteristics. We feel Bobby is destined to be a great black Suri herdsire someday. Time will tell if that's the case.
